Tommy Mundon is known throughout the West Midlands as "The King of Black Country Comedians" and has been keeping us laughing since the 1960's. In the 1970's, Tommy joined the "Black Country Night Out" show playing alongside other class comedians and poets like Aynuk and Ayli, Dolly Allen, Harry Harrison, Lizzie Wiggins, Dandy, and later, Marlene and musicians Giggetty and Maggie O'Hara.
For some years now, Tommy has been involved with writing articles and jokes for the Black Country Bugle, a favourite for those who like to remember the old days. Now in his seventies, Tommy is kept very busy travelling around the Midlands with his one man comedy act as well as appearing in the Black Country Night Out show. After many requests from his fans, and a little bit of persuasion from John Sparry, it was decided to record his life story.(in a tongue and cheek style!)

"A Montage of Mundon" was put together over several months and offers his fans an insight of Tommy's life, from his early childhood memories, to growing up in his beloved Halesowen.

John Sparry is a well known Midlands jazz vibraphonist, renowned raconteur, speaker and musicologist as well as a local historian. John has written many articles for the Black Countryman and has appeared on radio and television. He has been a personal friend of Tommy's for many years and they have worked together on several occasions. John, with his talks on local history and interesting characters, Tommy with his usual Black Country humour.

Howard Smith has been involved in amateur film making for some years now and has no less than four short films to his credit. His latest venture was an hour long drama called "Cashflow" which has just been awarded a three star rating in the 'Amateur Oscars' known as BIAFF (the British International Amateur Film Festival).

Cashflow is classed as a 15 certificate due to some strong language and one scene of violence.

It is available to purchase for 6UKP plus 1.50UKP P&P

This latest venture for Howard (A Montage of Mundon) was completed with the aid of many cups of coffee and sleepless nights.
